Committees
FINANCE COMMITTEE
The Finance Committee oversees Rolling Hills’ financial condition and provides guidance to the board on financial matters. The committee’s responsibilities include developing and monitoring the budget, and overseeing financial reporting,
Rolling Hill’s Finance Committee monitors the organization’s investments, ensuring they are managed prudently and aligned with the Rolling Hills risk tolerance and financial goals
The Treasurer serves as chairperson of the Finance committee. It is expected that committee members will have a financial or general business background.
NOMINATING COMMITTEE
Nominations committee furthers engagement of Rolling Hills owners in participating on the Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee is responsible for all procedures related to elections including seeking candidates for open board seats, publicizing important dates for elections and candidate filings, and assisting in vote counting. In addition, it is responsible for seeking candidates for election to the Board of Trustees.
RULES COMMITTEE
The Rules Committee regularly reviews the Association’s Rules, Regulations and Policies. The Rules and Regulations guide owners, residents and guest in their use of the units and the common areas including the amenities. The Policies primarily provide guidance to the Board regarding governance matters.
BUILDING AND GROUNDS COMMITTEE
Building and Grounds Committee provides advice and recommendations to the Board regarding the maintenance, protection and enhancement of all existing Trust common area structures and buildings and common areas within residential buildings to ensure the best use of these areas and to ensure compliance with all applicable standards, codes, guidelines and contracted scopes of work, and to work with management to make recommendations to the Board regarding maintenance and upgrade of the common areas and buildings; research and analyze projects as part of the community reserve study, coordinate budgetary needs with management and the Board; and establish key performance indicators in conjunction with the management.
SOCIAL COMMITTEE
The Social’s Committee builds community by bringing residents together to socialize and engage in shared interests or skills. Activities include Memorial Day welcome barbecue, ice cream socials, nature hikes, pickle ball, concerts, book club and movie night. Activities vary based on the talents and interests of the community. The committee welcomes suggestions and new ideas for activities.
AD HOC COMMITTEES
From time to time, ad hoc committees will be appointed. Examples are EV charging stations, siding replacement, website and fitness rooms.
