About Rolling Hills
If you are thinking about buying a condominium in the Berkshires, we would like to tell you about ourselves and give you some of the reasons that we see Rolling Hills as a wonderful place to have a home.
We have 50 peaceful acres, including protected woodlands with trails and a pond, a
swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, a community vegetable garden, and a clubhouse. Our
residential areas are beautifully landscaped with many flowers, shrubs, and trees that are
colorful throughout the seasons.
Location, Location, Location!
Rolling Hills is located in Lenox, Massachusetts, and is approximately
- 10 minutes to Tanglewood
- 7 minutes to Shakespeare & Company
- 10 minutes to the Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield
- 11 minutes to the Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield
- 14 minutes to the Berkshire Theatre Festival in Stockbridge
Within a 15 minute drive, you can explore many of the Berkshires’ best attractions: Hancock Shaker Village, Norman Rockwell Museum, The Mount, Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, Arrowhead, Bousquet Ski Area, Kennedy Park, Laurel Lake, Ventfort Hall Gilded Age Museum, Berkshire Scenic Railway, and the Berkshire Museum. And all of the other Berkshire attractions are easily accessible from our central location!
Rolling Hills is also only minutes away from major shopping areas with grocery, pharmacy, hardware, and clothing stores. Fine restaurants abound, and specialty stores for organic produce, kitchen supplies, fresh baked breads, and gifts are close by.
There are 108 units in the Rolling Hills community, 12 units in each of 9 separate buildings.
There are 3 distinct unit layouts, including first floor, second floor, and larger corner units. All units have a basement recreation room and a deck off of the living area. The community is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees, elected by the unit owners at our annual meeting.
Services include a condominium manager and a full-time maintenance staff.
Community
Our clubhouse is the center of the community, and includes a pool table, a ping pong table, a library, an exercise room, a hot tub, sauna, a full kitchen, wireless internet, and lots of space to gather. During the summer, we enjoy frequent programs in the clubhouse – arts and crafts, bridge and mah-jong, and performances from Tanglewood musicians. Our social events include a Welcome get-together early in the summer, and an end-of-season “Bash” around Labor Day. If you are interested in the arts, tennis, golf, bridge, hiking, biking, skiing, or just being left alone, you will find a group of people of like mind!
We think that the combination of location and community makes Rolling Hills a truly unique and wonderful place to live.
